Canary Wharf

Canary Wharf is a major business district, a Wall Street of London. It is one of the United Kingdom’s two main financial centres – along with the traditional City of London – and contains many of Europe’s tallest buildings, including the second-tallest in the UK, One Canada Square.

National Maritime Museum

From Nelson’s heroics to ocean-liner glamour to pirate escapades, this museum has something to fascinate all ages. Free to visit, the National Maritime Museum is at the heart of the Royal Museums Greenwich (which also includes the Queen’s House next door, Cutty Sark about five minutes away, and the Royal Observatory up the hill).

Museum of London Docklands

Housed in a warehouse built 200 years ago to store sugar, coffee and rum, the museum tells the story of the Thames and its port and the people from all over the world who settled there.
